What to expect from Red Bull

Red Bull will be wanting to add to their recent run of success in 2023 with Max Verstappen proving to beꩵ in unsꦡtoppable form.

At the time of writing, Verstappen sits 80 points clear ⛄of the rest of the🍰 field with the Dutchman firmly established as F1’s best driver.

S꧋ince Honda made crucial gains on the power unit side in 2021, Red Bull have been able to run consistently at 𝓡the front.

No 🔯longer held back by an underperforming Renault power unit, the Red Bull package in the hands of Verstappen has been devastating.&nb♍sp;

Sergio Perez remains the perfect teamma💝te for Verstappen.

A couple of tenths off Verstappen usu💞ally, however, Perez remains one of the best wheel-to-wheel drivers on the grid with his combative nature earning him high praise f𓄧rom the team.

Off track, work is wඣell underway for 2026 and the new engine regulations with Red Bull i🀅n charge of their own power unit supply.

Areas to improve

While Red Bull have enjoyed a successful 2022 campaign, statistically-speaking, they haven’t ꧒had the fastest car.

Ferrari, particularly over one-lap, have held☂ the advantage, while Red Bull have been more competitive on race day while making the most of poor strategy decisions from the Italian manufacturer.

Another area Red Bull will lo🌃ok to improve in is its general performance at high downforce circuits.

Sli♌ppery on the straights, Red Bull aren’t as quick as Ferrari in the 🐬corners.

Stability the key for Red Bull

Red Bull have both drivers locked down for a number of years meaning they won’t be involved in F1’s silly season once🅺 🎃again.

Perez sign💮ed a new deal afte🍷r his win at the Monaco Grand Prix, keeping him at the team until the end of 2024.

Verstappen si⛄gned a bumper new deal at the s♐tart of 2022, ensuring he will be with Re♏d Bull for six more 𒁃years.

“Even after winning the championship, my ambition is still to win races and try to fight for the championship again,” Verstappen said after sign𝔉ing his new contract earlier this year. “𓂃Also now, we don’t need to think about it anymore, we know how long the contract is.

“Besides trying to fight for wins and championship, what is important is to have a good time and have fun, an🦩d actually enjoy your time in F1.”

Verst𓆉appen loves the Red Bull environment an⭕d there’s no reason why his success won’t continue for the years to come.
