Aston Martin first team to reveal launch date for 2022 F1 car
The team’s 2022 F1 challenger - the AMR22 - will be unveiled at Aston Martin’s Gaydon headquarters on February 10 in an event which will be broadc꧑ast online.
In an email announcing its plans, Aston Martin said drivers Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll will be joined by “key members” of the team to launch𝔉 its fir♍st car of F1’s new regulation era.
Last week it was confirmed that Otmar Szafnaeur had left his role as CEO and chief executive officer of Aston Martin with immedi𒀰ate effect.
Szafnauer has been linked with a switch to rivals Alpine, who in turn announced the departure of executive director Marcin Budkow♍ski on Thursday.
February 10 marks the first e🐻xact date in the diary for F1’s launch seas⛄on, with Ferrari revealing it is planning to unveil its 2022 car sometime between 16-18 February.
The first three-day pre-season test begins in Spain on February 23, before a further three days of running will take place in Bahrain on March 10, ahead of the season-opening rac﷽e on March 20.
