Bridewell 'disappointed' by exclusion decision

Tommy Bridewell has expressed his disappo♒intment at being excluded from the race one results at Cadwell Park after being involved in a collision 𓂃with John Laverty.
Bridewell dived into a small gap up the inside of Laverty on the final corner of the last lap, but the pair would make minor contact, with Laverty going do💃wn. The outcome was particularly galling for Laverty as it all but ruled him out of reaching the title shootout.
Bridewell was disqualified for his part in the accident, but h🍸e was adamant it was a racing incident, insisting it was an unfortunate result of an 🎶otherwise fair move.
"To say I'm disappoi🍃nted to have be⛄en excluded from race one is a massive understatement as I honestly went for a gap and was past John when we collided and I was lucky to stay on and he was unfortunate to crash out," the Quay Garage Honda rider, who went on to finish eighth in race two, said.
"I'm a racer and this is top class Superbike Championship racing and it's my job to get the best result I can as after all, if I was happy with tenth place, I maybe shouldn't be racing here. I🐓'm just glad John was OK but disappointed with the way his team reacted bu🍌t you just have to put these things behind you and move on.
"I waওs determined to put on a good show in race t༒wo and get a decent result for the team but that's the best I could do on the old girl."
