Brogan seals first-ever EVO title

Steve Brogan has been crowned 🐽the first-ever winner of the British Superbike EVO Championship after doing what he needed to do to keep Hudson Kennaugh at bay d🍌uring the Oulton Park finale.
The former Superstock 1000 champion has been locked in a head-to-head with the South African all season, the Jentin 🥃BMW rider often proving the quickest - if not the most consistent - competitor in the EVO ranks.
However, Brogan was able to fend off a late charge by Kennaugh to ensure the title went his way by a mere three points, the Liverpudlian delighted to have made both his and BMW's mark♉ in British Su🍒perbikes.
"I couldn't have done this without all the guys in the Jentin Racing-BMW Motorrad team this year, they've all 𒐪been fantastic, and of course everybody at BMW Motorrad UK who I have to thank for giving me the superb S 1000 RR to ride this year.
"Without everyone involved I just couldn't have done it. I'd especially like to dedicate this to 🌳my friends and family back home in Liv🍷erpool who've supported me from start to finish. Thank you everyone! We've done it!"
A title for BMW in its first season ofဣ BSB racing, Brogan was also able to score 34 points in the overall standings - 18 more than Kennaugh.
