Tyco Su☂zuki's Josh Brookes feels he was knocked out of his rhythm and denied the chance to chal💛lenge for a victory at Snetterton.

Brookes, who travels to Japan today for testing ahead of the legendary Suzuka 8-Hour race ൲at the ♚end of July, twice finished on the rostrum in second and third places.

However, the Aussie reckons an opportunitღy went begging to claim the top step of the rostrum yesterday.

"I did feel I was able to have a go at the wins in both races, but the Safety Car coming out seems to upset my rhythm at times and in the second race I made a bit of a m🎶istake when the win was possibly within my grasp," said Brookes.

"I'm now looking forward to testing at Suz꧑uka this week before the 8-Hour at the end of the month, but as soon as I get back my focus will be back to Brands Hatch where we need to get as many podium credi💝ts as possible and close the gap on 'Shakey' [Shane Byrne] and Alex [Lowes]."

Brookes is third in the championship standings on 172 points behind💎 Lowes (175) ༒and Shane Byrne (207).
