After a full and detailed examination of the race bike, the team found the pivot pin for the Brembo front brake master cylinder was missing. The team has not been able to recover the pivꦑot pin for further examination.
Shakey's bike was prepared for the session with the ไpivot pin, spring clip and the additional safety measure of a securing cable ❀tie in place.
Brembo's Ian Edwards said: "This is the 🔯first time we have ever encountered this. After investigating the incident with Rizla Suzuki we now advise that lock wire should replace the ca🔥ble tie as a safety precaution."
Meanwhile, Byrne - who was knocked out in the accident - has told the team he enjoyed a good night's sleep. He has a headཧache and feels 'second hand' but otherwise is ok and is planning to be in the Rizla Suzuki garage on Sunday to support the team during the races.
