TAG Racing swaps to Honda for 2021 BSB tilt, retains Dan Linfoot

TA🐲G Racing has confirmed it will return to the British Superbike Championship in 2021 as an offi𒆙cial Honda UK supported team with Dan Linfoot.
The outfit withdrew midway through the abbreviated 2020 BSB season with Linfoot reverting t🍃o its Superstock 1000 effort, while Jack Kennedy switched to the RAF Regular & Reserves Kawasaki team.
However, having stated its intention to return for 2021 at the time, TAG Racing has now⛎ confirmed it will do so with BSB veteran Linfoot leading its effort once more, albeit this time on a Honda CBR1000RR-R supported by Honda Racing UK after it was picked as the manufacturer's official satellite effort.
“It’s such an honour for our team to be selected as a Honda Racing UK supported൩ team for 2021, it’s amazing in fact,” said team꧃ owner Gary Winfield. “Many people will be asking why we have changed manufacturers and the reason is simple, we want to be competitive again and changing to Honda breathes a fresh new lease of life into our team.
“From our first conversations with Harv and the guys at Honda we knew it was going to be the right choice going forwards. We were shocked when we s𝓰aw first-hand the numbers of the road bike from our dyno, they are extremely impressive and it bodes well.
“We must thank Harv and the Honda Racing UK team for their backing for 2021, we know their support will help us in our journey, and hopefully we can play our part in helping them with dev💟elopment.”
The deal mark꧋s a return to Honda mac✃hinery for Linfoot having competed with the works team between 2015 and 2018.
