R💜ich Energy OMG Racing riders Kyle Ryde and Bradley Ra𓂃y have already begun preparations for the 2022 BSB season after completing a two-day test in Cartagena. 

The Yamaha duo 🐼remain in the sa𒈔me team for next season, however, the two-day outing was a chance to test R1 machinery for the first time since the team’s departure from BMW. 

For the pair’s firs✱t test a🍷board British Superbike-spec R1’s, Ryde and Ray were supported by three McAMS Yamaha technicians, while also working with their own RICH Energy OMG Racing mechanics.

Speaking after the test which was Ryde’s first time back on Yamaha machinery since 2018, he said: "I lo🧔ved every minute of being back on a Yamaha, it put a big smile back on my face after a tough season.&n🍃bsp;

"The Yamaha R1 has been faultless and the McAMS Yamaha technicians were a🐻 great addition to the test to help me get comfortable, so thank you to them. 

"We made som🅘e good changes across the test and it’s given me a real boost ahead of next season. 

"Both Brad and I are excited for next season already and it can’t come soon enough. Thank you💝🏅 to the RICH Energy OMG Racing Yamaha team for putting the test on and to my crew for how much work they had to do to keep me out there."

Like R𝓀yde, Ray had nothing but positive comments about his first experience on a Yamaha, which is also his third diffe🌼rent manufacturer since 2019.

Ray added: "I’ve had an amazing time aboard the Yamaha R1, I’m feel🍨ing really at home on it alread🐻y. 

"We’ve made a few changes across the test with the McAMS Yamaha technicians and my crew🐬 to help get the best out of me and the bike and I’m real⭕ly happy with the progress we’ve made.
