James Nash has been excluded from the final race of the HiQ MSA British Tourin🍰g Car Championship meeting at Snetterton following the incident which saw Rob Collard crash out of the lead.

Nash was running in second place at the wheel of his RML-run Chevrolet Lacetti when h𝓡e made a move for the lead at the Esses, only to make contact with the rear of Collard's BMW 320si.

That cꦐontact saw Collard spin off into the infield, with his car then coming back onto the circuit and rolling to a h⛎alt on the racing line at the Bombhole.

An unsighted Stephen Jelley, who was travelling close behind the V♑auxhall of Matt Neal, was then left with nowhere to go and made hea𝓡vy contact with Collard's car - putting both drivers out on the spot.

Following investigations by race stewards, Nash was deemed to be at fault for the incident and hasꦿ now been excluded from the results, which hands a sixth win of the season to Coliꦅn Turkington.

Turkington therefore will take a 17 point lead to Knockhill for the next round of the season in two weeks tim꧒e.
