I like Anthony a lot, says Neal.

It was action aplenty this past weekend at Silverstone in the British Touring car Championship, with the third race of the day in particular 🅷meaning a number of drivers had certain issues come the end of the day.

WSR's Anthony Reid had pushed ꦗhis way forward to an early lead, after muscling his 💫way past VX Racing's James Thompson.

After building himself a decent lead, Reid came under pressure from Team Computeach🦩 racing with Halfords runner, Matt Neal.

The duo came together and there were appeals and counter appeals late into t♔he night at Silverstone. It wasn't, however, the first time the duo haཧd clashed in the weekend.

In Saturday's second practice session, Neal came across a slow John George on track, and before he knew it a hard-charging Anthony Reid was on the sc𓆉ene too, and there was contact between 💙the two."

"Matt's mirrors must have been full of dirt because he clearly didn't see me," Reid told the official series website. "He'd been held up by George and I was catching him very rapidly.

"I took my normal line and he just switched direction and drove into me. I was right up on the kerbs trying to get out of his way but he still hit me. Only he knows what he was doing."

Neal saw things slightly differently. "Anthony's red mist visor came down again.," he summed up to ltxcn.top.

"I like Anthony a lot, I like his personality, his sense of humour and the championship would be a poorer place without him, but I said to him, for crying out loud mate, it's a test session, not qualifying, not a race, so don't drive into the side of someone when it's a test session?" said Neal, before adding, "It was a bit needless."

This was on Sunday morning before all the action that took place during the ꧟day. Matt did expect there to be a degree of excitement going on, such is the level of action in the series this year.

"There'll be some action going on somewhere on the field, but hopefully it's not to♉o much action with me," he said.

Unfortunately for Matt, race three did see him involved in an incident, and once more the other driver involv🌳ed 𓂃was Anthony Reid...
