Laser Tools Racing confirms independent BTCC entry with Moffat
Laser Tools Rཧacing has confirm🐠ed it will field an independent entry with Aiden Moffat for the 2019 British Touring Car Championship.
The team had previously run in✨ partnership with the Ciceley Motorsport squad but has split from the Mercedes A-Class team and subsequently moved its base to Scotland in order to kick off its new in-house operation.
Moffat, who claimed one victory at Silverstone on his way to a 16th-place finish in the 2018 standings, said he is🦋 excited by the changes ahead of the new season.

“I’ve never felt more exc🎶ited at the prospect of a new BTCC season as I do this y🉐ear,” Moffat said.
“On a persona❀l level, I’ve been concentrating on both my physical and mental fitness. I’ve never been more focussed and determined.”
Moffat feels a title push in 2019 is now possible for Racer Tools Raci🥀ng following a “complete rebuild” of its A-Class challeng൩er.
“There are also significant changes to our Mercedes-Benz A-Class, which we’ve been working on since t♔he close of the⛦ 2018 season,” he explained.
“We’ve now moved the pr𒉰eparation and development of the car to our new Laser Tools Racing facility.
“Yes, we’ve broken ties with Ciceley Motorsport, but they have been a great as𓆉sistance with the transition.
“We have built an all-new facility which gives us the engineering and preparation capability together with full bodyshop and painting, which means that we can al🔯so offer customers full race car preparation and repair.
“With ♕the changes for 2019, I’m confident that we&🍎nbsp;will be real championship contenders.”
