Excler8 Motorsport's Tom Ingram snatched victory in the second British Touring Car Championship race of the day af💟ter performing a final-lap m💦ove on Tom Oliphant at Brands Hatch.

Having started from pole position, race one winner Olip🤪hant led almost every corner of the race, but ultimately dropped to third behind Ingram and reigning champion Ash Sutton after a grandstand final lap.

Oliphant had alreadꦯy soaked up race long pressure from what proved to be a eight-car chasing pack, which was led by Ingram after the Hyundai i30N driver successfully pounced on Dan Rowbottom's failed attempt to snatch the lead on lap 18 of the race.

Despite remaining glued to rear of Oliphant, it looked as though Ingram would have to settle for second behind the BMW🐈. However, Oliphant left just enough of a gap heading into Paddock Hill cꦡorner on the final lap of the race, which gave Ingram enough of an opportunity to force the move.

The paඣir did make minimal contact on the apex of Paddock Hill ben𓄧d, but Ingram gained the high ground heading up towards Druids and sealed the move on the inside line.

Oliphant was ꦍdealt another blow when the Infinti of Sutton out-dragged the BMW out of the final corner to snatch second position in a photo finish across the line.

Ingram's second vꦍictory in as many meetings means the Excler8 driver now leads the BTCC title race ahead of Laser Tools Racing's Sutton, with the pair enjoying a near 30-point lead over BTC Racing's Josh Cook in third.

Following what proved to be a disastrous second race for Gor⛦don Shedden, Dan Rowbottom once again carried the honours for Team Dynamics in fourth position.

Shedden limped home to finish in 22nd after finding hi🥂mself caught up in an incident with Team BMW's Stephen Jelley. That incident brought out the𒀰 safety car on lap two with Jelley's BMW beached in the gravel.

Josh Cook completed the top-five order in fifth ahead of a strong showing from ꦛPower Maxed 🃏Racing's Dan Lloyd in sixth.

Chris Smiley found himself in the middle of a Power Maxed Racing Vauxhall sandwich in seventh, with Jason Plato showing strong☂ pace to recover back up the order to eighth.

Aiden Moffat and Senna Proctor rounded out the top-ten in ninth♓ and tenth.
