Sochi next for Renault Roadshow

The Renault F1 team has announced th🏅at Sochi, Russia will be the latest stop🍰 on its 2009 Roadshow calendar.

Romain Grosjean and demo driver Ada🌺m Khan have been slated to drive the team's F1 cars in the Russia𒁃n city on Friday September 18.

The event will be run in collaboration with MegaFon, one of the team's partners, under the support of the Sochi City Government and will coincide with the Sochi Economic Forum, which will be chaired by Russian Prime 🐠Minister, Vladimꦍir Putin, and attended by President Dmitry Medvedev.

The Renault F1 team has announced that Sochi, Russia will be the latest s🐻top on its 2009 Roadshow calendar.

Romain Grosjean and demo driver Adam Khan have been slated to drive the team's Fꦓ1 cars in the Russian ci🀅ty on Friday September 18.

The event will be run in col🔯laboration with MegaFon, one of the team's partners, under the support of the Soch🗹i City Government and will coincide with the Sochi Economic Forum, which will be chaired by Russian Prime Minister, Vladimir Putin, and attended by President Dmitry Medvedev.

"Our Roadshow events continue to take the sport to the p🉐ublic and offer fans the chance to get close to the team and experience F1 in a friendly and relaxed environment," said Renault managing director, Flavio Briatore.

"The decision to stage this event in Sochi, which is un♈dergoing such massive transformꦆation as it readies for the 2014 Winter Olympics, is the ideal way to showcase the unique atmosphere of F1 within a new yet unexplored market where we know there to be significant interest in our sport."

Renault plans to take its single, two and three-seater experiential F1 car🌳s normally used during its Feel-It da🎀y programmes in France to the event to allow selected media and guests at the Economic Forum the exclusive opportunity to experience a passenger ride in an F1 car.

Grosjean is excited about the trip💫 to Russia: "Renault's Roadshow events a🍸re always special and the chance to drive an F1 car on the streets of Sochi is something I'm really looking forward to," he added.

"I will do my besไt to put on a spectacular show for the fans and give a few l👍ucky people the drive of a lifetime."

Meanwhile Renault will also transport a number of its historic racing cars, as well as pit-stop equipment and race simulators to allow the assembled a💛udience to get a hands-on feel for the excitement of F1.
