2003 Nissan World Series♈ driver Bas Leinders has crashed today [Wednesday] at Barcelona, as he began what was his very first test in an F1 car.

According to reports by Reuters, Leinders went off early in the session this morning, some reports suggesting he completed just sixܫ corners before damaging the Jordan Ford EJ13.

Mechanics are currently wဣorking to fix the car and get the Belgian 🅺back on track.

His accident follows another crash yesterday for the𒈔 Silverstone-based squad, when German Timo Glock went offꦰ into the gravel.

The team also suffered engine gr♌emlins, as problems continue to mount.

Jordan is currently believed to be struggling to secure sponsorship for 2004, and has yet to name any of its drivers, although Jos Verstappen, Nick Heid🌳feld, Allan McNish and Ralp♎h Firman are all thought to be in the frame.
