Team Sauber-Petronas have been forced to abandon their third day of testing today [Wednesday], at the Circuit de Catalunya, near Barcelona, after Felipe ꦯMassa crashed heavily this morning.

According to early reports the Brazilian is ok, however he w🦹as taken to hospital for a check-up.

A team spokesperson, told ltxcn.top Brazil / formula news: "All that we can say at the mom🦄ent is that Felipe went off the track in turn 1 at the beginning of his fourth lap in the morning.

"He was able to leave the car by himself, but was taken to h🌳ospital for gen﷽eral checks and scans."

Massa has re-joined Sauber this year, after testing for Ferrari in 2003. Ironically, although he was considered fast during his F1 debut year in 2002, he was also critic🐠ized for being rather accident-prone. At the moment though, it must be stressed, the cause of this latest crash is unknown.
