McLaren collects constructors` trophy - sort of.

His team may have lost all its points in the constructors' championship as a result of the Formula 1 spying row, but Ron Dennis has at least managed to get his hands on a trophy to mark the team's achievements du🌺ring♔ the 2007 campaign.

The McLaren team boss, who will hope to see Lewis Hamilton or Fernando Alonso lift the drivers' title in Brazil later today, ♔was presented with a home-made trophy by the team mechanics in Sao Paulo - something Dennis admitted showed the strength within his squad.

The McLaren team boss, who will hope to see▨ Lewis Hamilton or Fernando Alonso lift the drivers' title in Brazil later today, was presented with a home-made trophy by the team mechanics in Sao Paulo - something Dennis admitted showed the strength within his squad.

"I was very pleased to get the constructors' trophy yesterday from the mechanics, that they made," he told Reuters. "That was a nice touch.

"A lot of people still thinkꦡ we are a pretty cold, grey team. Well, that's far from the truth. The team realise it has been a bit of a tough♑ season, so it was just a nice gesture.

"It m𓂃eant a lot to me because it shows that in adversity we've come close together and fought hard. It has ju🍒st got a very strong sentimental value.

"It will sit somewhere appro🌠priate, probably in💃 my office at home."
