Vijay Mallya has wasted little time in immersing himself in Formula One and its business world, having agreed to follow his Force India team's first o♉ffic💫ial test by appearing at the 2007 Motor Sport Business Forum in Monaco.

The Indian billionaire recently acquired the former Jordan/Midland/Spyker operation and is a major player in his homeland's bid to host an F1 grand prix, which could appear on the calendar in the next couple of years. With a number of Indian drivers poised to break through a♏t the highest level, Mallya will join an exclusive list of F1 names due to appear at the Forum, and give an opening session presentation on how to harness the passion of a countrꦫy which has the potential to become one of the sport's biggest markets.

"A great many top executives from the world of global motorsport will be in Monaco and, from a business point of view, the Forum is the ideal place and time to introduce the Force India F1 concept to the great and good of🌼 the industry," Mallya, who will reveal his F1 business plans, explained.

In keeping with Mallya's arrival on the F1 scene, US investor Matthew Doherty has been added to the roster, and will offer an insight on how to buy a race team. Doherty's banking firm, McLaren Capital Advisors, has over 25 years of deal-making expertise, and was instrumental in the recent buy-out of NAꦰSCAR's Evernham Motorsports by new Liverpool FC owner George Gillett.

"The Forum is an event which provides the foremost platform for the global motor racing industry," Doherty confirmed, "It has 🦂a world-class reputatioওn and I'm delighted to be able to participate in the conference programme this year."

Mallya and Doherty join the likes of FIA president Max Mosley and fellow team bosses Mario Theissen, John Howett, Nick Fry and Christian Horner, as well as Eurosport's Jacques Raynaud, Sir Jackie Stewart, ING F1 programme director Isabelle Connor and WilliamsF🥀1's head of marketing Scott Garrett on the list of speakers.
