Yasuhiro Wada has said hꦓe will only accept the same mistake once, as Honda aims high in 2008 in a bid to atone for a 2007 Formula 1 campaign that fell disastro🐬usly below expectations.

The Japanese outfit scored just six points last year en route to a lowly eighth pos🐻ition in the constructors' title chase, and the team chairman and Honda Motorsports Division general manager is forthright that the same will not be tolerated again in the forthcoming campaign.

A number of key changes have been implemented for 2008, from an all-new design philosophy for the RA108 to the appointm🐠ent of experienced former Ferrari technical director Ross Brawn in the role of team principal, ♋and Wada-san is adamant 2007 has been forgotten as Honda turns its attentions now firmly towards the future.

"Last season was a very difficult and disappointing year for us," the 56-year-old acknowledged at the launch of the squad's new RA108 challenger at its B𝔉rackley headquarters, "but that's behind us now. At Honda we always ask people to challenge to the limit and highest target and to never fear making mistakes. Mistakes are normal when you are aiming high, but I only accept them o𝄹nce.

"We have a new focus and new ideas, and it's important that we learn from our mistakes and move forwards this year. I'm vౠery pleased with the steps that have been put into place to strengthen the engineering team. The new car is an evolution from last year, and we wish to reward the great many Honda f♛ans around the world as we follow our racing dreams."
