Despite the heavy title odds heading into this weekend, Hamilton said he has given the idea of winning the championship little thouꦿght, and is simply looking to drive the best race possible in Mexico.
"I’ve not really thought about it to be honest. ♕I am not really sure why,"&nbs⛦p;Hamilton admitted.
"I have just been enjoying the moments from the 𓂃last race and the great response from the t𓆏eam and I have been focusing on doing the same again.
"I enjoyed the last race so much and that’s what I am looking forward to. I am planning to do all 🌊I can do.
"But I have no expectatio♍ns, I just plan to drive as well as I can and I hope it turns out alright.”
Hamilton stressed he is not chan🅠ging his approach or mindset heading into the weekend despite only🙈 needing a top-five finish, having arrived in Mexico off the back of a fine run of form that has seen him win five of the last six races.
"It doesn’t change my mindset - I want to win. That’s ꦬthe aim, I ꦜhave no desire to come here and finish fifth and watch someone else stand on the podium," Hamilton said
"You are only as good as your last race, so the dream would be to be standing on the t🍷op step of the podium this weekend havin🅷g won the championship. That’s the best feeling."
