A Mercedes team minibus was robbed at gunpoint while leaving Autódromo José Carlos Pace on Friday night, with members of🐻 the Formula 1 team on-board losing valuables but suffering injuries.

The team 🐼minibus was leaving the circuit after Friday's practice running for the Brazilian Grand Prix, taking team members and staff back from the Int🧸erlagos circuit.

Mercedes confirmed꧑ this morning that the attack had happened and was at gunpoint, with robbers taking valuables but not leaving team members with any injuries.

"Following a numbe✤r of enquiries, we can confirm that a team minibus was robbed at gunpoint last night leaving tꦡhe circuit. Valuables were stolen but most importantly everybody is safe and uninjured," the statement reads.
