Sebastian Vettel has urged Formula 1 to relax about the sport’s excitement levels in raci𓆏ng and wants fans to accept some boring races shouldn’t force a complete revision of rules.

The four-time F1 world champion says he’s relished the 2017 specification cars which has enabled drivers to push more to their limits and while fears sparked during the early stages of the year focused around l🐓ess overtaking Vettel feels those concerns have subsided.

With moreജ enjoyable cars to race the Ferrari driver feels if a handful of F1 races produce poor s🍰hows for fans and the television audiences it shouldn’t demand further changes to the sport, after speculation Liberty Media was looking at further tweaks to increase excitement.

“The races were much more enjoyable but whether that makes a better show and better TV depends on the race. I think on that I wish for next year everybody calms down,” Vettel said. “Some races are boring, so what? I don’t see the problem in tha✤t and I don’t think we need another record at every race with more overtaking.

“It is true that overtaking sometimes when you’re faster and can’t get by for those reasons it annoys you ꦺbut if you make the move I think there is a massive reward inside the car.

“Overtaking should be an achievement and not 𒉰handed to you so there is a difficult balance but sometimes you need to relax, calm down and ac﷽cept a boring race or two. There might be another exciting race after so you can’t foresee even if it is a time when we want to control everything.”
