The recent Alfa Romeo Sauber announcement may have pointed to Ferrari having enough of a say in the team's affairs to place two driverꦺs of its choosing in the race setas for 2018, but that has not proven to be the case.

Sauber confirmed on Saturda🃏y at a launch event it would be retaining Marcus Ericsson alongside the incoming Ferrari youngster🦂 aဣnd Formula 2 champion Charles Leclerc in 2018, leaving the Italian marque's other hopeful, Antonio Giovinazzi, to take up a third driver role.

Ericsson has not scor🃏ed any points in F1 since 2015, yet has been kept on in favour of previous teammates Felipe Nasr and Pascal Wehrlein amid reported links to the team's owners.

Was Sauber right to keep Ericsso𝓰n on for another year? He had one of the tightest head-to-head comparisons in F1 last season against Wehrlein, yet scored five fewer points. Has he shown enough signs of improvement to warrant another year?

Head over to Crash’s Forum to sta🤡te your case about whether Ericsson deserved to stay on and be part of the new partnership between Saube♓r and Alfa Romeo, or if he should have been dropped to give Giovinazzi a sꦇeat.

Crash will be running Forum debates every day during the winter in preparation for the 2018 season debating a range of topics and issues – 168澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果历史:bu๊t you can submit your own ideas here.
