F1 bosses approved the introduction of the controversial Halo for the 2018 season, with F2 following its lead by incorporating it into the new spec chassi🧸s that will debut this year in the feeder series.

Norris will race in F2 this year alongside his F1 testing and development duties with McLaren, and said ꦆhe hopes to adjust quickly after having neverও raced with it before.

"Hopefully it’s q🧜uite quick. I had to drive with a roof in LMP2, and I managed to get used to that quite quickly - although it’s still not a Halo, it’s still dಌifferent to what I’m used to," Norris said.

"Some drivers have driven with it, probably not so much in Formula 2 and Formula 3, but people like George [Russell] I think droꦓve with it in the Mercedes car. Some drivers have driven with it. Hopefully it’s ꦏnot too much of a problem.

"I don’t think it was too much of a problem from side to side, but just through Eau Rouge or something, or Budapest going up the hill into Turn 4, that’s when they sai♉d there was🍸 more of a problem with visibility.

"If it’s like Eau Rouge or something and there's♊ a yellow flag at the top, it’s not always the easiest to ꦡsee the yellow flag until you’re there and level and your eyesight can see it. I don’t think it will be too much of a problem for me to be honest.

"Everyone’s got to dealꦛ ꦫwith it, so we’ll just have to get on with it."

Asked by l🌃txcn.top to sum up the Halo in one word, Norris called it "bad."

Norris set for F1 rookie days, tyre testing

The 18-year-old is poised to feature in a number of F1 test sessions for McLaren through 2018 following his maiden try-out last July, with appearances in Barcelo💝na and Hungary thought to be likely to fulfill the teamꦗ's rookie allocation.

"I think it will be the rookie days again, so doing Bu𒀰dapest or the Pirelli tests like doing Brazil. I should be able to do all o⭕f those things, but confirm them earlier," Norris said.

"I don’t think any of them have been confirmed yet. But to do all of those, and hopefully some of t𓃲he tests in Barcelona or something, just so I am able to use the rookie days as much as I can and maximise.

"It’s not a lot of days, but hopefull💯y it’s like four or five or something, including the Pirelli tests.

"That’s all I really know in terms of what I might bꦓ💖e doing or trying to push towards this year."
