F1 announces extended TV deal for Sky Italia

Formula 1 will continue to be shown live in Italy on Sky Italia until the end of the 2020 ꦍseason following the signing of a fresh agreement𒉰 announced on Thursday.

In the latest new broadcasting contract to be announced by F1, Sky Italia will continue to carry live coverage𝓡 of the championship via its Sky Sport F1 channel, as well as showing the Formula 2, GP3 and Porscheꦰ Supercup support series.

Formula 1 will continue to be shown live in Italy on Sky I🌟talia until the end of the 2020 season following the signing of a fresh agreement💯 announced on Thursday.

In the latest new broadcasting contract to be announced by F1, Sky Italia will continue to carry live coverage of the championship via its Sky Sport F1 channel, as well as showing the Formula 2, GP3 and Porsche Su🧜percup support series.

T🧸he new deal also ensures that at least four grands prix will be show free-to-air in Italy each year, including the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, as well as additional coverage via digital platforms and social media.

"We are very happy to have renewed our partnership with Sky Italia for a further three years. Italy is one of the most important countrie𝔍s in the history of Formula 1, where the passion for our sport is part of the DNA of many people, and it is very important to have reached this agreement which will ensure that all the races will be broadcast live," said Ian Holmes, director🐟 of media rights at Formula 1.

"Also, it is crucial to have maintained a free to air package of rights, which will always include the Italian Grand Prix, part of the Form♔ula 1 World Championship since its origins in 1950.

"Sky Italia has shown a great commitment to the sport and will offer the Italian fans a deeper and broader experience than ever before. More hours and more quality a💟nalysis across o💙f Sky’s channels and platforms."
