Alonso handed first extended McLaren F1 run in pre-season testing
Fernando Alonso will enjoy the first extended run in the new Renault-powered McLaren MCL33 on Monday at the st🌞art of Formula 1 pre-season testing in Barcelona.
Two-time F❀1 world champion Alonso got his first taste of the new car earlier this week during a shakedown, completing 10 laps before handing over to teammate Stoffel Vandoorne, and was pleased with the maiden run-out, telling fans "good times are coming" after a difficult period for McLaren.

McLa💝ren confirmed via Twitter on Sunday that Alonso would be piloting the MCL33 car for Monday's running in Barcelona, with Vandoorne slated to take over on Tuesday.
Alonso will then ﷽return to the cockpit for Wednesday's running before Vandoorne closes out the opening test on Thursday.
