Haas' pace surprised much of the F1 paddock as it led the midfield pack, and while Mag💜nussen took confi🦩dence from the team's display, he stressed it was not guaranteed to continue in Bahrain next weekend.
"It was good to have a competitive car in Australia. I ꦉenjoyed driving the car all weekend," Magnussen said.
"But there’s no guarantee we’ll be that strong in Bahrain, so we have to work hard to try and understand the car and make sure we carry the peಞrformance forward into the next race.
“I’m not takin🐠g anything for granted. Again, we have a good car, but I’m cautious. We’ll take it on𒊎e race at a time."
Despite the disappointment of seeing the chance to beat the team's best result in F1 disappear, Magnus🌼se﷽n is sure that Haas can move on quickly and refocus to bounce back in Bahrain.
"We try to refocus and look forward to the ne𒐪xt one," Magnussen said. "We take the positives that we can from Australia, whic൩h is we have a good car. We take that forward to Bahrain.
"We wi♎n together and we lose together. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes – we have to make room for that – but we’ll learn from that and improve together."
