Daniel Ricciardo hopes to “turn things around” at the upcoming German Grand Prix following a difficult🧸 𒊎run during Formula 1’s first-ever triple header of races. 

The Red Bull driver finished fourth in France, before being forced into retirement at his team’s home race in Austria and taking fifth at Silve🧸rstone. 

In contrast, teammate Max Verstappen made two podium appearances, cla🔯iming second place at Paul Ricard, b🗹efore going one better to record his first win of the campaign in Spielberg. 

Ricciardo has claimed two victories already in 2018 - charging thro💖ugh to first place following a brilliant strategy in China, ꦇwhile he enjoyed a dominant weekend in Monaco - and is looking to replicate similar performances before F1’s summer break. 

“It’s good to have a bit of a break after the triple header as things haven’t quite gone my way over the last three races, but I’m looking forward to getting back on track and to things turning 🦄around in Germany and Hungary,” Ricciardo sa൩id. 

“Hockenheim is a f💞un circuit and I’ve always enjoyed going there. My highlight is probably the battle I had there with Alonso i📖n 2014 which I loved. 

"Turn 1 is super-fast and the 𒁏track is good for overtaking. The stadium section is also fast with a big bold left hande🌱r. All round it’s a good track and one I’ve always gone well on and enjoyed.”

Red Bull claimed a double podium finish behind race-winner Lewis Hamilton the last time the German Grand Prix was held at Ho𓆏ckenheim in 2016, before it was absent from the calendar last year. 

"The German Grand Prix is ba💯ck on the calendar and I’m looking forward to it,” Verstappen added. “I’m sure quite a few Dutch fans will also come over and visit the track to support me. At the last German Grand Prix we had a 🌠double podium, so that is of course a good memory.”
