Günther Stein🀅er has confirmed the Haas Formula 1 team is continuing its internal investigation into the incidents involving development driver Santino Ferrꦏucci at Silverstone, but is focusing on other priorities for the time being.

Ferrucci, 20, was hand𝓀ed a two-round ban from Formula 2 due to a number of ♎incidents over the Silverstone race weekend, including hitting Trident teammate Arjun Maini on-track and using his phone while driving the car from the paddock.

Ferrucci was suspended by the Trident team, who also revealed both he and his father had ꩵbehaved inappropriately off-track through the weekend, as well as requesting to race with President Donౠald Trump’s ‘Make America Great Again’ slogan on the car, only for the FIA to refuse.

Trident confirmed on Wednesday that Fer🎉rucci’s contract had been terminated, but Haas is yet to make any decision regarding his future.

“I don’💞t have a view on it now, and I don’t really want to explain anything, because we are looki⭕ng into what actually happened and what the story is,” Steiner said.

“We need to listen to all the parties. For us to make a comment or do so𓄧mething, it is too early.

“At the moment my time is better spent working on th⭕is race and the next race be🍎fore the summer break and then I will have time to look into it. It’s not at the top of my priority list, but obviously we are not ignoring it by any means.

“But it is still too early to mౠake any comment. I would likeꦡ to leave it at this for the moment until we know more and we have a clear picture of it.”

Ferrucci has been part o💯f Haas’ junior setup since ✨the team began racing in F1 in 2016, making test appearances at Silverstone and the Hungaroring over the past two years.

The American driver also appeared in the IndyCar double-header 💎round last month in Detroit, recording a best finish of 20th after retiring fromꦫ the opening race.
