Louis Deletraz handed Haas F1 simulator role for 2019 season
Formula 2 frontrunner Louis Deletraz has been handed an official Formula 1 tꦺeam role as a Haas simulatoꦿr driver for 2019.
The 22-year-old got his first taste of F1 macﷺhinery last year when he participated in the post-season Abu Dhabi Pirelli tyre test for the American squad, completing 117 laps.
Deletraz, who has an F1 super licence, will 𝕴combine his racing commitments in the F2 Championship alongside his new development role at Haas.

Deletraz, who has an F1 super licence, will combine his racing commitments in the F2 Championship aloꦡngside his new development role at Haas.
“My first F1 test with Haas in Novem🐠ber was a dream come true and I have enjoyed a good relationship with the team ever since,” he said.
“I’m pleased that they’ve been happy with my work and I feel honoured and🐷 grateful that the team want to continue working with me by contributing to t꧑heir simulator programme.
“The sim plays a substantial role in the development of an F1 car because it allows the team to check the car and ๊any updates.
“Driving it is an important job and, as someone that is determined to join the F1 grid in the near future, this work will allow me to continue learning about F1 and pushing 🌺towards my ultim♛ate target.”
🍰Deletraz currently sits fourth in the F2 championship standings after taking two fifth-place finishes for Carlin at the season-opener in Bahrain.
