Niki Lauda laid to rest in Vienna as hundreds attend funeral
Niki Lauda has b𒈔een laid to rest in Vienna, Aus༺tria following his death at the age of 70 last week.
Three-time Formula 1 world champion Lauda passed away last Monday, having undergon✤e a lung transplant last year.
Tributes poured in from across the motorsport world, with last weekend's Monaco G🎃rand Prix being dominated by drivers and team figures sharing their memories of Lauda. A number of teams also opted to run with tributes to Lauda on their cars, while both Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel changed their helmet design to match that of Lauda.

Lauda's funeral took place on We꧑dnesday at St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna, with hundreds of fans coming out to attend along with figures such as Mercedes driver Hamilton, team boss Toto Wolff,𝔍 Austrian prime minister Alexander van der Bellen and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Lauda was buried in one of his old racing suits, wi💫th his coffin being decorated with his famous red racing helmet an🌸d rose wreaths.
