H🌌onda has confirmed Toro Rosso's Alexander Albon has taken a second fresh power unit ahead of final practice for the Austrian Grand Prix on Saturday, adding more parts to his season pool.

Toro Rosso confirmed ahead of the Spielberg⛎ race weekend that Albon would be using the upgraded power unit after its ﷺintroduction last weekend in France, resulting in a penalty that would drop him to the back of the grid.

Prior to the start of FP3 at the Red Bull Ring on Saturday afternoon, Honda ಌconfirmed it had taken an additional set of parts in order to add more to the pool for the season, giving Albon a better chance of avoiding further penalties down the line.

NEWS Prior to FP3, we have replaced the Spec 3 PU fitted to Alex Albon's car with another new Spec 3 unit. This is for tactical purposes, as it means we can keep in the pool of components the MGU-🌌H an💟d turbo from the PU Alex used yesterday
