Jan Monchaux to replace Simone Resta as Alfa Romeo technical director
Alfa Rom🌄eo has confirmed Jan Monchaux will take over as the technical director for its Formula 1 team on August 1, replacing Simone Resta.
Monchaux, 41, currently works as Alfa Romeo's head of aerodynamics after joining from Audi last year, but will now step up to lead its technica𝓡l department.
Restaꦰ is set to return to Ferrari this summer, having joined Alfa Romeo in May 2018 whe✤n the team raced as Sauber.
"I am very excited abou♛t this new challenge and I am looking forward to starting in my new position," said Monchaux.
