Hamilton's test with the Pata Yamaha WSBK squad last December followed an event earlier in the year that had seen him link up with British MotoGP rider Cal Crutchl🧔ow via mutu🎃al sponsor Monster. The energy drink brand is a Mercedes team sponsor, and has a special edition drink named after Hamilton.
However, t💯he ties to Monster could prove to be a stumbling block for any Hamilton versus Marquez showdown, given the latter is a Red Bull athlete and ambassador, running with its sponsorship on his helmet and race suit.
Monster was reported earlier this year to have been keen on a future ride swap between Hamilton and Yamaha MotoGP rider Valentino Rossi - who himself has extensive F1 testing under h🐷is belt - but any possible plans are still to be made public.
