With the Formula 1 summer break over, the action returns this weekend with the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps for round 13 of 21 in the🌱 2019 F1 world champions🐠hip.

With the Formula 1 summer break over, the ac🎀tion returns this weekend with the Belgian Grand Prix♒ at Spa-Francorchamps for round 13 of 21 in the 2019 F1 world championship. 

Lewis Hamilton holds a comfortꦕable 62-point lead over nearest challenger and Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas, fresh from signing a new deal for 2020 on the eve of the weekend.

There are plenty of storylines to follow across the w🌠eekend in Belgi꧂um with Alexander Albon making his Red Bull debut following a mid-season seat swap to replace the underperforming Pierre Gasly, who drops back to the Toro Rosso squad alongside Daniil Kvyat. 

The British-Thai driver faces a tough test in being pitted against the ever-improving Max Verstappen after just 12 grands prix. In other news, Bottas has been retained aℱlongside Hamilton for 2020, while Esteban Ocon will return to the F1 gꦏrid.

The Frenchman will join Renault on a two-year deal alongside Daniel Ricciardo, with Nico Hulkenberg making way for Ocon. The German driver has been ღleft without a drive for next season but is understood to have interest from multiple teams, including American oꦑutfit Haas, which is set to choose between Hulkenberg and Romain Grosjean for its final seat for 2020.

Following Friday's practice ru🌺nning, which was topped by a dominant Ferrari, qualiꦅfying day takes place on Saturday with the final one-hour practice session taking place at 12:00 followed by qualifying itself at 15:00 (all local time). 

F1 is also joi♌ned by support series Formula 2 and Formula 3 at the Belgian round.
