Lando Norris invites Captain Tom Moore for tour of McLaren F1 HQ
Lando Norris has offered to take Captain Tom Moore on a tour around McLaওren’s Formula 1 headquarters following the 99-year-old’s fundraising efforඣt for the NHS.
World War veteran Moore has raised over £27.5million for NHS Charities in the fight against coronavirus by complet🅷ing 100 laps of his garden ahead of his 100th birthday later this month.
Moore, a long-time motorsport anℱd F1 fan, smashed his original target of just £1,000 after nearly one million people dona𝔉ted to his fundraising page.

Moore, a long-time motorsport and F1 fan, smashed his or✨iginal target of just £1,000ಞ after nearly one million people donated to his fundraising page.
McLaren driver Norris arranged a video call with Moore over the weekend and invited him 👍to visit the team’s Woking base once the UK’s lockdown 🥃measures have been lifted.
“I want to say a big congratulations for what you’ve achieওved,” Norris told Moore.
“I’m sure you⛎’ve been told many times but from my side and everyone at🔥 McLaren we want to say a big congratulations for what you’ve done.
“It’s my honour🐼 that I get to speak to people like you, Captain Tom. You’ve achieve🎃d things that very few people manage to achieve ever in their lifetime, especially at 99 years old and coming on to 100 – that’s another big achievement.
“We would love to invite you, eventually, whenever you want to McLaren for a little tour – or a big tour꧅ – whatever you want, of our whole facility.”
More replied: “Nothing would give me more pleasure than that. That would be phenomenal 🐲for me to come round McLaren because I’ve been a McLaren fan𝓀 for a very long time and I am still am.”
Earlier this week, Moore topped off a record-breaking week by going to Number 1 in the UK charts with a co༺ver of ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ with singer🔯 Michael Ball.
