McLaren MCL35 shows off its Pride with tweaked livery for F1 2020

McLaren Racing has become the latest team to unveil its own livery tweak ahead of this weekend’s Austrian Gr꧋and Prix and the 2020 F1 season opener, with a design inspired by the sport’s #WeRaceAsOne initiative.
Already bearing one of the more striking liveries in the F1 grid with its distincꦑtive papaya orange and blue livery design, for 2020 McLaren will tip a nod towards doing its bit to promote greater diversity and opportunity in the F1 paddock.
Last week F1 unveiled the #WeRaceAsOne scheme which pledges to raise inclusivity in motorsport, which itseꩵlf was inspired by the global Black Lives Matter movement.

While McLaren had already demonstrated its own support with the inclusion of a rainbow design – the associ꧟ated symbol of the LGBT community – on the halo, the Woking company have gone to more creative lengths just as Pride Month com💛es to an end to incorporate the design into the sidepods too.
It makes McLaren the third team to reveal a tweaked new look for♈ the 2020 F1 season, which has wꦚaited almost four months to get underway as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier this week Mercedes pledged its own commitment to improving diversity across its own company and paid tribute to its champion Lewis Hamiltoin’s impassione🌜d views on racism to transform the ‘Silver Arrow’ into ♎an all-black design.
In addition, Williams also features a new look for the first race of the season after losing title back ROKiT in May resorting to a more traditional🤡 blue and white livery for George Russellꦺ and Nicholas Latifi.
Unity. Solidarity. Hope.
