Sergio Perez: Racing Point F1 team ‘hiding things’ from me since exit announcement

Sergio Perez is disappointed that some Racing Point members have been keeping information fro🐽m him since it was announced he is leaving the team at the end of the 2020 Formula 1 season.
Ahead of the Tuscan Grand Prix Racing Point confirmed th♚at Perez would be replaced at the team by Sebastian Vettel for when it rebrands to Aston Martin in 2021.
Addressing the media on Thursday prior to the Russian Grand Pri𒐪x ♑at Sochi, Perez revealed that some team staff have been withholding information from him since the announcement.
“Since the news c🐷ame out, some people inside the team tend to hide things,” ⛎Perez said. “Which I don’t think is great.
“I think at the moment we just have to be as transparent as possible to make sure we achieve our goals and make sure that we 🦩score as many points as we possibly can.”
Perez, who will once again be without Racing Point’s aero upgrade package in Sochi fo🌜llowing teammate Lance Stroll’s heavy crash at Mugello, stressed the importance of the Silverstone outfit remaining open in its approach in order to extract the maximum from the season.
“It’s going to be so crucial that we del෴iver every single point, it’s very impo🎀rtant for the constructors’ championship,” he explained.
“We still can have the best season in our history. If we manage to finish third… I ꦿthink we are all going to be very disappoi🦄nted if we don’t manage to get that third place in the constructors’ championship.”
Perez, who has been linked with seats at both Alfa Romeo and Haas, confirmed he has held initial talks with teams and said he expects “real൲istic options” for 2021 to become clearer to him in the next week or so.
𒐪“There has been contact with a couple of teams and talks,” he added.
“I think in the next week or so I will know what exa♋ctly i💞s a realistic option and what isn’t. But that’s something that I will keep between the teams and myself.
“I think everyone deserves the respect, they have current drivers, current discuᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚssions, so it’s something Iꦗ will keep for myself.”
