After another short break, Formula 1 is back in business as🍷 it returns to the Nurburgring for the Eifel Grand Prix. 

Havin🌠g not been on the calendar since 2013, F1 retur♒ns to a legendary venue in the Nurburgring - home to the intimidating Nordschleife.

Given the time of year, the weather surely w🔯ill play its part with cold and wet conditions expected throughout the duration of the weekend.

The Eifel Grand Prix marks a run of races where F1 hasn't been at in some time, such as Imola and Turkey, or where F1 hasn't raced at such at like Portimao before heading⛦ to the Middle East ꧃to close this unique season.

The Russian Grand Prix proved to be a decisive one in the race for 2020 F1 drivers' crown as Valtteri Bottas returned to w𒉰inning ways at the Sochi Autodrom to claim his second race victory of🐲 the season.

The Finn endured a difficult qualifying session b🐭ut bounced back in the race as overtook Max Verstappen at the start and then challenged teammate Lewis Hamilton into Turn 𒊎1.

Fortune seemed to favour Bo💫ttas on this occasion when Hamilton was handed two separate time penalties for practice start infringements allowing Bottas and Max Verstappen to jump him through the stops.

Bottas went onto claim his second win in Russia ahead of Verstappen a🌱nd Hamilton.

The gap in the championship now sits at 44 points with seven rounds 𒈔remaining.

In🅺 terms of the midfield fight, Sergio Perez headed the pack in fourth place in Russia - b🐲eating Daniel Ricciardo, who was the lead Renault in fifth.

McLaren sits third in th♛e constructors' championship, just two points ahead of Racing Point, while Renault is a further five points back in fifth.

What to expect from this weekend?

Pirelli has nominated the C2, C3 and C4 compounds for this weekend - the same as at Monza and Spa-ꩵFrancorchamps. 

With rain expected, keep an eye on the 'wet weather specialists' - Hamilton, Verstappen, Esteban Ocon and&n🏅bsp;Lance Stroll often fare best in the wet.
