Sergio Perez is staying tight-lipped on speculation linking him w🌊ith a surprise switch to Williams for the 2021 Fo♍rmula 1 season.

Perez is currently looking to secure a drive for next year after Racing Point opted to replace the Mexican with four-time world🃏 champion Sebastian Vettel as it rebrands to Aston Martin for♌ 2021.

Recent reports claim that Perez has emerged as a candidate to potentially replace George Russell at Williams following 🔜a 🔜change in ownership at the British outfit with Dorilton Capital’s takeover.

While Russelꦿl was quick to dismiss the spe🎶culation, Perez did not deny that discussions have taken place with Williams.

“As I’ve said before, I haven’t signed anyt💛hing,” Perez said when he faced the media on Thursday ahead of the Portuguese Grand Prix.

“At the momen💧t there’s not a lot that I have to report or say. The season is comin✃g to an end so it’s getting close and I should be in a position to say something pretty soon I think.

“But up to now I don’t think there’s a lot of point in giving away anything bec🐷ause I also want to keep my negotiations priꦜvate.

“I think we’ve got 🍨to be respectful of all the teams that we are talking to and so there’s no point to discuss 💫anything at the moment.”

Perez is seemingly left with few options for 2021 with limited seats available and has been linked to both Haas and Alfa Romeo, while Red Bull has not ruled out the Mexican if Alex Alb🧸on fails to improve on his inconsistent results.

Asked ho🧔w many teams he is currently in talks with, Perez replied: “Ha, there are noꦡt many teams out there! Actually very few.

“It’s not like a number, but there ar♋e very few teams out there that have a good project that is something that really putsꦡ me into their project, and I’m willing to be in that project.”
