Valtteri Bottas had led the way in the early stages but slow pace due to damage when he pit for hard rubber allowedꦕ Hamilton to extend his medium tyre stint and overcut Bottas and the Red Bull of Max V⛄erstappen.

Mercedes’ seventh consecutive constructors’ championship in a row is a record achievement, moving one clear of Ferrari’s six in a row achieved b﷽etween 1999 and 2004.

Wolff is usually quite reserved ཧwhen celeb🍌rating, but today the German was clearly ecstatic when reflecting on his team's latest triumph.

“I am not so much into the number but this is something to be proud of really,” Wolff said. “We have a group that is just amazing together. We’ve stayed together, we’ve tried to push the benchmark to new levels and we’ve🅘 achieved that. It’s a super proud moment with all these guys and to be p🌳art of it.”

Both Wolff and 𓆏Hamilton have yet to sign new deals with the team to remai𓆏n for 2021.

Wolff is confiden🦋t Mercedes can continue to rack up more titles should it remain 'motivated'.

“As long as we stay motivated and energised, and I can see that within these guys then I can see us push it furthermore. There will be competition, no doubt, next year with Max and Honda tying to do a really good job towards the end of the 💮season so we are looking forward to a new challenge.”
