Chadwick handed bigger Williams F1 development role for 2021

Williams F1 has announced Jamie Chadwick will continue her role as the team’s deve꧋lopment driver for the forthcoming 2021 campaign.
Chadwick has been with Williams since 2019, where she joined as part of its driver academy while fulfilling the role of development driver🔥.
She will continue to test on the team's simulator and will be “fully immersed within the team both trackside at certain grands prix an🥂d at the factory”.
Alongside her Wil🧸liams role, Chadwick claimed the inaugural 2019 W Series title and took a class victory at the Nürburgring 24 Hour Race.
Chadwick will once again compete in W Series with it being an official F1 support ra✤ce i🌃n 2021.
“I have absolute🀅ly loved my time with 🍸Williams so far and could not be more delighted to continue working with the team in my role as development driver,” Chadwick said. “I feel I am improving as a driver all the time, and my time spent in the simulator this coming season will prove to be invaluable. I look forward to fully immersing myself at Williams once again this year.”
Despite the change of management with the Williams family relinquishing their ownership of the team mid-way through 2020, the 22-year-old has retained her role witꦿh team principal Simon Roberts stressing the importance of women representation in F1.
“Not o♑nly is she a great female ambassador for the sport and plays an integral part in promoting women in motorsport, her work in the simulator and behind the scenes at Grove is hugely valuable,” Roberts added.
“Jamie’s determination and drive to do more, as well as push the boundarie🍸s, is something we 𓄧admire at Williams and we are all looking forward to the year ahead with Jamie as part of the team.”
