The Russian has suffered a number of spins so far during his rookie F1 season, leading to the creation of socia♌l media accounts and websites to track ‘When did Mazepin last spin?’.

Mazepin has spun twice during the Styrian Grand Prix weekend, with his first coming in second practice on Friday, before he nearly went full 360 at Turn 1 in final pract💝ice on 🎃Saturday morning.

With his regular pirouettes resulting in Mazepin becoming something of a ‘meme king’ on social media, Haas decide🦂d to give its driver his own spinning top game.

“It’s a little present for you,ꦑ so you can keep on Mazespinning,” Steiner joked as he handed over the gift to his driver.

When Mazepin a🃏sked what it was, Steiner replied: “It’s the Mazespin!

“So now you can spin this one, it’s better tha🎶n spinning the car.”

Mazepin will line up from P20 on the grid for today’s Styrian GP, alongside Haas teammate Mick Schumac🙈her, who outqualified him by just a tenth of a second.

“Unfortunately we don’t get many testing sessions in Formula 1 and if you don’t experiment and you are very conservative with set up, then the opportunityꦏ to find a lot is also less," Mazepin said after qualifying.

“I was using FP1, FP2 and FP3 to try things that there was no guarantee of working and to be honest it didn’t work. We just came back to an or🐓iginal starting set-up and things were as we expected.

“There were no negative surprises.”
