F1’s Lando Norris ‘unharmed but shaken’ after having watch stolen at Wembley

The 21-year-old Briton attended the game at Wembley Stadium and watched England agonisingly lose to Italy during a tense penalty shootout as the men’s national team mis💫sed out on the chance to end its 55-year wait for a🐷 major trophy.
A report by The Sun ꧂on Monday evening claimed that Norris was held up by robbers who stole his £40,000 watch as he attempted to get into his McLaren GT supercar following the match.
McLaren confirmed Norris was unhurt in the accident in🍰 a team statement.
“McLaren Racing can confirm that Lando Norris was involved in an incident, after the Euro 202🍃0 final match at Wembley, during which the watch he was wearing was taken,” the statement read.
“Thankꦓfully, Lando was unharmeꩲd but he is understandably shaken. The team is supporting Lando and we are sure that racing fans will join us in wishing him all the best for the British Grand Prix this weekend.
“As this is now a police matter we cannot comment fur🥃ther.”
England’s biggest game since 1966 was oversha﷽dowed by chaotic and unsavoury scenes as ticketless fans broke into Wembley Stadium ahead of kick-off.
Footage from inside Wembley showed fans fighting after crowds had stormed through the sec🌌urity gates.
The FA condemned the inc♓ident as “entirely unacceptable” and The Metropolitan Police said it had made 86 arrests in connection with the final, while nineteen police officers were injured.
Marcus Rashford🎉, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka were the targets of racist abuse on social media after all three൲ England players missed penalties in the defeat to Italy.
