The Australian made a sensational switch from Red Bull to join Renault for the 2019 season before going on to make the move from the Fren🌸ch squad to sign for McLaren ahead of the current campaign.

Back in the summer of 2018 when he was weighing up his future, Ricciardo felt a move away from Red Bull would enhance his prospects of winning a world championship. However, Ricciardo is yet to add to the seven grand prix victories he amassed during his five-year spell at Re꧅d Bull.

Red Bull currently holds a 44-point advantage over Mercedes in the constructors’ standings, wh🌳ile Ricciardo’s former teammate Max Verstappen is 32 points clear of Lewis Hamilton in the drivers’ championship.

“I don’t have regrets,” Ricciardo said ahead of this weekend's British Grand Prix at Silverstone. “I made every decision for a rea꧙son and every decision you make is a time or a moment in your life that is right or best at that time.

“So I certainly don𝓡’t look back with regret or question anything.”

And Ricciardo stress💜ed he is happy to witness Red Bull enjoy a successful season, having won six of the opening nine races so far in 2021.

“I look at theirꦆ results this year - I guess that’s probably where the question comes from - do I regret or think, ‘could that have been me?’ But I look at that and I’m honestly happy for them,” he added.

“Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to be winning but good for them, they are challenging Mercedes an🔜d they look like they are in the real hunt for the title this year.

“I briefly caught up with Christian [Horner, Red Bull boss] i🌠n Austria and a few of the Red Bull guys and I’m stoked they are doing what they’re doing. But certainly no regrets.”
