Mick Schumacher completes Silverstone run in father’s famous Jordan 191 F1 car
On Tuesday at Silverstone, the Haas rookie got the chance to get behind the wheel of t𓄧he iconic Jordan 191 made famous by his father when he made his F1 debut at the 1991 Belgia💯n Grand Prix.
Schumacher made an instant impression on the F1 paddock when he got an unexpected call up to replace Jordan regular Bertrand Gachot - who was imprisoned for assaultiꦜng a London taxi driver mid-way through the 1991 season - at Spa-Francorchamps, despite having only driven an F1 car for the first time just days before the race.
The future world champion qualified a stunning seventh - four places ahead of teammate Andrea de Cesaris - for his F1 debut and was running in sixth🦩 place when his clutch failed moments after passing Eau Rouge on the opening lap, causing ꦏhim to retire.
But Schumacher had made his mark as the hottest property in F1 and was subsequently snapped 𒀰up by Bene☂tton for the remaining five races of the season. The rest, as they say, is history.

Schumacher shared the 191 with Karun Chandhok for a special Sky Sports F1 🅘feature that will be broadcast during its coverage of next month’s Belgian Grand Prix.
