Nicholas Latifi and George Russell finished seventh and eighth in Hungary to propel Williams up to 🎀eighth in the♉ standings, moving seven points clear of Alfa Romeo.

It was the first time Williams had sco🎃redℱ points with both cars since 2018.

Alfa Romeo has scored just three p🗹oints in 2021, with neither Kimi Raikkonen or Antonio Giovinazzi failing to 𓆏finish higher than tenth so far.

Pujolar remains confident Alfa Romeo can overturn the deficit to Williams even without a chaotic race, as we saw la🐽st time out at the Hungℱaroring.

“I think under normal racing conditions we could achieve this. Not inꦇ one go. “But if we had only three or four races left, probably yes. If we have still got multiple races to go then this is achievable.

“It will be not easy but I think it is possible and we will try. I think at the end of the day it could ha⛎ve been much worse from where they were at the beginning.

“We managed to recover some ground in the race and they lost a lot of ground but now the difference in points, I think it is not huge and we have still got a lot of races to do. So ꦇI think we can do it.”

F1 resumes after the summer break at the end of th𓃲e month when it heads to Spa🎃 for the Belgian Grand Prix.
