Inheriting pole position ෴from Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton who dropped to 11th on the grid after serving a grid penalty, Bottas maintained the lead and 💦dominated the race.

The F♍inn controlled the grand prix from the front, putting in consecꦫutive fastest laps at the end of the race to pick up 26 points.

It was Bottas’ first win since Russia last y👍ear - 🔥over a year ago.

“I think that from my side it’s probably one of the best race𝄹s I’ve had ever,” Bottas said after the race.

“Apart from that little slide everything was under control, but like I said before the race the car has been really good in every condition, I had really good confidence with it, could really control it. It’s no♔t easy to choose the best strategy in these conditions, when to stop, for which tyre, but I’m glad everything went smooth for me, for once. That’s nice.”

Bottas had to overtake Charles Leclerc on track, who decided to stay o𒈔ut on his initial set of intermediates in a bid to w👍in the race.

Despite taking a comfortable win, Bottas stressed that it was far from easy due to the conditi♔ons.

“You know, when ther𝄹e’s only one drying line it doesn’t need much for you to good off, so I definitely needed to focus all through the race,” Bottas added. “A difficult one, yes, but it feels like a well-earned victory.💞”

Bottas strengthened his grip on thi🉐rd in the championship, moving 32 points clear of McLaren’s Lando Norris.
