Hamilton and Raikkonen reprimanded for F1 track limits breach in Mexico FP1

Hamilton ran wide across the grass at Turn 1 during a moment early in the first F1 practice session at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez on Friday🍎 morning, before rejoining the circuit between Turns 2 and 3.
The seven-time world champion reported 🌟over 🧸team radio that he “couldn’t slow down there” as the drivers struggled with the dusty conditions on a green track early on in FP1.
Hamilton was called before the stewards because he failed to follow race director Michael Masi’s notes that state drivers must re-join the circui🙈t to the left-hand side of the bollard at Turn 3.
The stewards noted “the driver’s comm🌃ents in relation 𝕴to track conditions and his attempt to steer to the left after leaving the track” before giving Hamilton a driving reprimand.
Followin𝄹g his own moment at Turn 1, Raikkonen rejoined the circuit before Turn 2 and the Alfa Romeo driver also received a repriman𓆏d for his transgression.
It marks Hamilton and Rai🦂kkonen’s first driving reprimands of the🐽 2021 F1 season.
Hamilton ended opening practice just 0.076s behind Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas, while Ra𓄧ikkonen finished 12th.&🔯nbsp;
