After Ferrari announced it would not be renewing Vettel’s contract beyond t൩he end of the year, 🎀Racing Point wasted no time in getting talks underway with the four-time world champion in the bid to secure his services.
Vettel’s sign🅺ature marks a huge coup and is a major statement of intent for the Silverstone-based squad as it readies to enter a new era as the Aston Martin F1 Team. Replacing Sergio Perez, Vettel wil🀅l partner the team’s billionaire owner Lawrence Stroll’s son Lance.

Current Racing Point team principal Otmar Szfanaueඣr believes Vettel’s arrival will boost Aston Martin and help take the team to the next level.
“He will raise t🐟he team to a different level and I'm sure it will be 1000 little things that he will help🦩 us improve that can then take us to a new level,” Szafnauer said.
“I think he'll bring with him a World Champion work ethic and that's what we all wan🐽t to learn from.
“Everyone's going to have to raise their game and he will be a great mento🌄r for Lance too. He's still relatively young and very fast, and it’s great for Lance to learn from a four-time world champion.”
