Formula 2 has confirmed its 10-team grid f💝or the 2018 season as the defending teams' champion Russian Time returns to the series despite initially planning to leave the series.

F2 issued a provisional entry list wit🐷h 11 filled 🎀team slots in mid-November that included new teams Fortec Motorsport and Charouz Racing System, plus the returning Carlin, but did not name either Russian Time or Rapax.

Series officials opted to leave a⛎ 12th entry free, but announced in its final entry list on Thursday that only 10 teams had committed to the series, with Russian Time making a return.

Fortec has dropped off the entry list despite intentions to 𒉰race in F2, while Racing Engineering has also opted to call time on its stint in the series, having won the drivers' title with Fabio Leimer in 2013.

"I🗹’m very pleased to confirm that our reigning champions Russian Time will join the 2018 g﷽rid," F2 CEO Bruno Michel said.
